The 2023 Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards™ are given for work in Learning and Development, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Sales Enablement, Future of Work, and Education Technology.
Success Academy, a leader in innovative training for the Service Trades Brands, won a coveted Brandon Hall Group Gold award for Excellence in the Best Advance in Education Delivered Through Technology category, and a Bronze award for Excellence in Best Advance in Technology for Testing or Learning Evaluation. Success Academy's win was announced on December 7, 2023.
The entry submitted by Success Academy in both categories is titled “Shaping Excellence: A Behavior-Based Certification Journey”. It covers an extensive behavior-based certification program created around the Service Technician position. Success Academy took the identified critical competencies and created online modules to develop these skills while connecting them to the participants' everyday use on the job. Opportunities are built into the program allowing the manager to analyze employee behaviors and skills and invest in the individual's success and feedback. Leaders can then use the information gathered and the employee's progress, paired with the employee's KPI requirements, to identify opportunities for coaching and development, determine if that employee is reaching overall excellence in the position, and evaluate how ready the employee is for promotion within the company. This dynamic program uses various learner-driven content design approaches and rigorous assessments to ensure maximum impact, retention, and application.
